…are sometimes just not enough. I thought my timing of beginning this collection of ‘moodlings’ was good – however, an amazing sequence of events caused me to go AWOL from much Internet activity.
I’m sure a more experienced/talented/resourceful soul would have coped with and overcome such things as the death of my computer’s motherboard, resulting in an ‘orphaned’ monitor, keyboard and printer/scanner. And the fact that, sadly, my poor mini-laptop just couldn’t cope with her BIG siblings – and I couldn’t cope with her flat little keyboard and squidgy little screen (oh, my poor eyes!).
And our rainwater tank stand collapsed, flooding our backyard with 2,000 gallons (or 9 tons) of precious rainwater. Traumatic and tragic to 2 POPsies (Poor Old Pensioners), but in reality, an embarrassingly micro-mini flood compared to the tragic losses the victims of our other sister States of Australia have been enduring.
I have however, been scribbling with pencil and paper, and with the help of my new motherboard, the first of my new submissions have been approved and ‘published’. If you are interested -
Ageing Disgracefully is my newest Squidoo lens, and
The Nifty Fifties – He Called Me ‘Butch’ is my newest Ezine article, and
Love is a Warm Bear Hug is my newest Literature For Kids article.
So, you can see, I haven’t been quite as idle as it may seem!
Enjoy!
